How much does a house move cost?
Every move is quoted individually, based on how much you have, the distance and the access at both ends. Send us the details on the form below and we will come back to you with a price, including any discount you are eligible for.
Will everything fit in one van?
Our 3.5 tonne L3 Luton vans hold 22 cubic metres, which is the load of a 2 to 3 bedroom house. For smaller moves we also use long wheelbase, high roof jumbo vans with 12.4 cubic metres of space. Tell us the size of your home and we will confirm what is needed.
Do you do long-distance moves?
Yes. We are based in Inverness and cover the whole of the UK, including the Highlands and Islands, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Exeter. For long-distance jobs we require 50% to 100% of the quote in advance.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weekends and the end of the month. A deposit secures your date.

Loft or attic conversions, home extensions, outhouses, sheds, garages and garden items are priced separately from the main home move. Flights of stairs in flats and apartments are also charged for, because they add extra work and time. If the van cannot park close by, or if major obstacles block the path or put the safety of our team at risk, this will also affect the quote.
