- Chemicals and liquids, such as paint, oil and solvents
The waste disposal site will not accept these from us. Your local council can advise on disposing of them.
Costs extra to dispose of
- Mattresses
- Sofas
- Anything with foam padding, such as armchairs, cushions and upholstered furniture
Foam padding contains toxic materials, so the waste disposal site charges extra to process it specially before disposal. We will include this in your quote, so please list any of these items when you get in touch.

Scrap collection: your questions
What scrap do you take?
Most household and business scrap. We cannot take fridges, freezers, gas canisters, or any hazardous, explosive or toxic materials, chemicals or liquids. Tell us what you have when you ask for a quote and we will confirm whether we can take it.
Are you registered to carry waste?
Yes. We are registered with SEPA as a waste carrier, registration number WCR/R/3014274.
Do you collect from businesses and building sites?
Yes. We work with building contractors, property developers and commercial businesses as well as households.

Tell us about your job and we will come back to you with a price. Fill in what you can, and we will ask for anything else we need.
Loft or attic conversions, home extensions, outhouses, sheds, garages and garden items are priced separately from the main home move. Flights of stairs in flats and apartments are also charged for, because they add extra work and time. If the van cannot park close by, or if major obstacles block the path or put the safety of our team at risk, this will also affect the quote.
