What we can't take
- Fridges and freezers
- Gas canisters and gas bottles
- Explosive or flammable materials
- Toxic or hazardous waste
- Chemicals and liquids, such as paint, oil and solvents
The waste disposal site will not accept these from us. Your local council can advise on disposing of them.

- Anything with foam padding, such as armchairs, cushions and upholstered furniture
Foam padding contains toxic materials, so the waste disposal site charges extra to process it specially before disposal. We will include this in your quote, so please list any of these items when you get in touch.

Can you clear a property after a bereavement?
Yes. We understand this can be a difficult time and we will work at a pace that suits you. Let us know which items you want to keep, pass on or have taken away.
Are you licensed to take away waste?
Yes. We are registered with SEPA as a waste carrier, registration number WCR/R/3014274.
Can you clear the property and move the rest?
Yes. We can move the items you are keeping and clear the rest in the same job. Tick both services on the quote form.

Loft or attic conversions, home extensions, outhouses, sheds, garages and garden items are priced separately from the main home move. Flights of stairs in flats and apartments are also charged for, because they add extra work and time. If the van cannot park close by, or if major obstacles block the path or put the safety of our team at risk, this will also affect the quote.
